On Friday, October 22, Crown Regency Hotels & Resorts topped off its first property in Panglao, Bohol—Crown Regency Grand Paradise. A massive 5-star resort with 550 prestigious rooms, 8 private villas, 1,000sqm area swimming pool, 3 dining outlets, a lakeview bar, a gym, a spa, a 1,200-person capacity convention center, and a beautiful view of Songculan Lake, Crown Regency Grand Paradise is the group’s second largest resort development in the Philippines. At 9 floors, it is the tallest resort in Bohol and shaping to be a destination within a destination.
The topping off ceremony of this ambitious project was led by Chief Operating Officer of Crown Regency Hotels & Resorts, Ms. Susan K. Bernardo, Executive Assistant to the COO Ms. Richelle King, Director Mr. Arthur King, Construction Manager of Rider Levett Bucknall Mr. Roland Oconer, General Contractor Ben. S. Ponio of BSP & Co., and Architects Ralota and Jusayan from Palafox Architecture and Associates.
Designed by PALAFOX Architecture & Associates, the resort is inspired by the rich tropical atmosphere of the Philippines with a display of lush green landscapes. The different areas of the resort are laced together by a series of boardwalks and pathways cascading into the intimate lake view.
The development is targeted for completion by 2024. Despite the ongoing pandemic, the Crown Regency group is confident that by then, tourism will be back just in time to experience all that this grand paradise has to offer.
